Cooperation Between the Baltic States and Poland
Cooperation between the Baltic States and Poland is expanding rapidly, yielding promising results. The development of joint projects and strategic partnerships is being encouraged, fostering stronger collaboration and shared investments. These initiatives aim to improve the quality of life for Europeans, in line with the European Union’s primary investment policy, which supports businesses operating across the EU and strengthens the economies of its member states.
The positive effects of this cooperation can be seen in the labor market, with more than 8.5 million jobs created. Additionally, it provides opportunities to participate in public procurement projects related to infrastructure, information technology, and research and development.
The collaboration between Poland and the Baltic States is progressing successfully, with Orlen Lietuva as a key example. This Polish energy conglomerate operates in Lithuania and owns the only oil refinery in the Baltic States, capable of processing up to 15 million tons of crude oil per year.
